"Ralston is a really good fancier, indeed I would venture to suggest that he is one of the very best fanciers
in the entire country"

Ralston Graham, Eskvalley Lofts
Winner of the 2002 Scottish National Flying Club Gold Cup Race from Reims
Pigeon Racing UK

Ralston Graham formed Eskvalley Lofts in 1964 with birds gifted from local fanciers.

The following year saw the start of racing and the winning trend, with a pigeon bred from these "gifts" Eskvalley Lofts first major win was the Solway Federation Open Young Bird Race in 1965.

This trend in racing continued and in 1969 Ralstons results with Eskvalley Lofts included 1st Sect, 3rd Open Scottish National Flying Club Open.

Ralston Graham's Pigeons were originally raced Natural and in the early days the South Section of the SNFC was won on three occasions. However, realising that pigeon racing and breeding was changing, with pigeon fanciers achieving outstanding results racing widowhood, the decision was made to change in 1987 and Ralston Graham introduced new strains. This change was significant resulting in a spate of "Sprint" successes and the award of Solway Fed Fancier of the year nine times in eleven years.

Aware that close rival & great friend Derik Nordon (expert fancier) was achieving great success in the Classics on Roundabout the decision was again made to change and new pigeon bloodlines introduced resulting in recent Classic pigeon racing performances.
